Review
Story

Seenu (Ravi Teja) is fondly called as Dubai Seenu as his sole aim in life is to fly Dubai and earn tonnes of money. In the process, he gets hold of a broker and gets duped by him in Mumbai. He along with his friends starts a small canteen to earn lhis ivelihood. and eventually falls in love with a girl called Madhumati (Nayana Tara). He then witnesses an incident that prompts him to return back to Hyderabad. The rest of the story is all about how he helps out Madhumati.

Artists Performance

Ravi Teja did the role that suits him the best. He performed really well in a character that is tailor-made for him. Nayana Tara is pretty good in the role of a troubled girl. JD Chakravarthi is different with a varied mustache. Neha (dil fame) is pretty attractive in this guest role. Sushant Singh suited the role of ‘master of disguise’ (changing get-ups to kill people ala Hrithik in Dhoom 2). Sayaji Shinde is neat in a comic villainy role. Among the comedians MS Narayana entertains the most as Soloman Raju (called as fire star hero in film industry and fans) who is kidnapped by the villain. Sunil is cool in the scene of enacting Dubai Shiek. Krishna Bhagawan comedy is also good.

Technical Departments:

Story - screenplay - direction: Story of the film is of routine revenge type. Director Seenu Vytla narrated the film in spaced flashbacks in order to maintain suspense. Hence the screenplay of the film is different. He also depended mostly on impromptu comedy by conceiving entertainment oriented scenes most of the time. Direction of the film is adequate. He should have taken care of the film in the latter part of second half. The climax should have been better. Seenu Vytla seems to have decided to opt for fast-paced entertainer narrative style (like Pokiri and Desa Muduru).

Other departments: Dialogues by Chintapalli Ramana are interesting. There are good Ramana style of one-liners like ‘Barista (coffee shop) … bharistama’ etc. Ravi Teja’s mannerism of ‘Appadam Aipoddi’ is good. Music by Mani Sharma is adequate. The songs in second half are better compared to the first half. Editing by newcomer Varma is adequate. Cinematography by Bharani K Dharan is alright. Fights are ok.

Analysis: The first half of the film sails smoothly though there is not much of a story. Second half slows down. Seenu Vytla mixed entertainment with action elements. The climax should have been more convincing. The plus points of the film are Ravi Teja and comedy episodes. On the flip side the script should have been more compact. On a while it’s a time pass film if you are looking for Ravi Teja kind of comedy.
